Who Is Major Mukund Varadarajan? Amaran Tells The Story Of National Hero

The trailer for Amaran has dropped and is receiving positive feedback, featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the role of Mukund Varadarajan. This film, set to hit theatres on Diwali 2024, has generated significant buzz since its announcement as a biopic about an Indian Army officer.

Major Mukund Varadarajan played a vital role in the Indian army and served in the 44th Battalion of the Rashtriya Rifles. He played a crucial role in fighting terrorist groups whose intent was to merge Jammu and Kashmir with Pakistan.

Major Mukund bravely confronted these terrorists with his team. But in the field, he and his friend Vikram lost their lives, but not before successfully neutralizing the threat.

The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Sivakartikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose, Lallu, and Suresh Chakravarthi.
