Vettaiyan: Rajinikanth Vs Amitabh Bachchan, Director Gnanavel Talks Acting Styles

The movie "Vettaiyan," starring superstar Rajinikanth and directed by TJ Gnanavel, was released in theatres today. The film is receiving mixed reviews, with some being average and others above average.

In a recent interview, Gnanavel mentioned that Amitabh Bachchan prepares like a "first-bench student," while Rajinikanth brings "magic" to his performances.

The Vettaiyan movie is the third film directed by T J Gnanavel. Another speciality of the movie, after 30 years  , Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rajini acted together again in this film. As the release date approached, fan's anticipation for the movie increased, and they were eager to watch it in theatres.

In this case, there are ongoing promotions for the movie Vettaiyan, with the cast and crew attending interviews. During a recent interview, director Gnanavel, who has been participating in the promotions for a few days, joked about the comparison between Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth at a promotion event in Hyderabad.

Speaking about the shoot of Vettaiyan, he said, "For actor Amitabh Bachchan, he is like a first-bench student. On the very first day, he buys the papers for the scenes he has to act in and prepares thoroughly for it, and the next day, he performs in front of the camera exactly as expected. At the same time, actor Rajinikanth will not watch all the rehearsals like a last-bench student. He buys script papers for himself a few minutes before coming to the shot. Then when he takes it into his heart and expresses it in his own style, magic happens."
