Padai Veeran Movie Releasing On Feb 2nd

Vijay Yesudas, Bharathiraja starring Padai Veeran is set to hit big screens on Feb 2nd. It has joined February 2 race along with Vijay Sethupathi's Oru Nalla Naal Pathu Solren, Samuthirakani's Yemaali, and Shanmuga Pandiyan's Madura Veeran.

Padai Veeran has 'Kalloori' (2007) hero Akhil in key role and Amritha as female lead. The movie has director and actor Manoj Kumar, brother-in-law of Bharathiraja in an important role. Kavitha Bharathi, Sindhu, Nithish and Jeyachandran are part of the film.

Karthik Raja had composed music, Rajavel Mohan handled camera and edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan. Directed by Dhana Sekaran, an erstwhile assistant of Mani Ratnam  the movie was announced in 2016. The movie was shot in and around Theni district.

The audio was launched by Manirathnam and Mysskin on last year April. The album has 8 tracks and Dhanush had crooned "Local Sarakka Foreign Sarakka" song, Yuvan Shankar Raja has sung "Ithuvarai Naan", and Vijay Yesudas himself had sung 2 songs in the film. Haricharan, Mukesh, Chimnayi, Karthik Rja, Prithvi are other singers in it.

Singer Vijay Yesudas had turned as an actor in Malayalam movie 'Avan'. His debut Tamil movie was Dhanush's Maari and Padai Veeran is his 3rd movie. He was also roped for Ajith Viswasam to play an important role.
