Rajinikanth Speaks About Rajini Style

Rajinikanth in his fans meet today spoke he will announce about his political status on Dec 31st. He also apologised for not meeting his fans on his birthday. He said he wants to be alone on his birthday. This decision was taken long ago. I will not be in Chennai during by birthday but this time I was in my home but I cannot meet the fans.

The veteran director Mahendran and producer Kalaignanam were invited to attend the meet along with him. Kalaignanam was the producer of Bhairavi, Rajinikanth first film as hero. The movie had Sripriya, Sreekanth, Geetha and Sudheer in key roles.

While speaking to the fans, Rajinikanth told first he rejected the chance of Bairavi as they approached him to do hero role. Rajinikanth added "Credit goes to Kalaignanam who introduced me in lead role. He did not see me for any other call sheet for any movies after that. When I ask about him, he used to say I am very well. I too did ask him because even mother feeds her child only it cries. I should have asked him and done movies for him. I too have done mistake. Though I did not do any other movies, he has been my well-wishers still now."

"First I rejected to do Bairavi as I am not interested in doing lead role. Producer again and again approached me. I was getting 25,000 to 30, 000 during that time. I raised my salary to 50,000 thinking they will leave me. But after 3 days they gave came with the advance amount and finally booked me."

"Friendship with Mahendran sir began during Adu Puli Aattam movie. He was a writer for that movie and he booked me for his maiden directorial venture Mullum Malarum based on my friendship. He already said to me I should do lead role in his first movie. It was him who moulded me and brought out a performer in me. K Balachander sir wrote letter after the seeing the film stating he was proud that he had introduced him.

Even late puratchi thalaivi Jayalalitha had sent bouquet to my residence praising my performance in Mullum Malarum. Rajini style was introduced by Mahendran sir. He changed by way of action and dialogue delivery and others. Without his knowledge he was moulded for the Kali character."
