Rajinikanth And Mammootty Team Up For Marathi Movie

Rajinikanth and Mammootty after 1991 Manirathnam's block buster 'Thalapathy' is again said to team up for Marathi movie titled 'Pasaayadan' to be directed by Deepak Bhave. The both superstar and mega star's are making Marathi debut together. There are reports that Mammootty will be making cameo appearance for Rajinikanth's Kaala that will be released next year. 

The director of this Marathi movie had worked as the co-director in Deepak Gawade's Marathi drama, Idak that was screened in the 48th International Film festival happening in Goa. It received good feedback from the audience there. 

Producer-politician Balkrishna Surve would be producing and presenting the film. The movie is set to commence on floor on next year February.

Rajinikanth is at present busy with Shankar's magnum opus sci-fi thriller 2 point 0 produced in mega budget of 450cr by Lyca Productions. The movie is reportedly pushed back from Jan 2018. Kaala directed by 'Kabali' fame Pa Ranjith is on progress and the team plans the release after 2 point 0. 

Meanwhile Mammootty's upcoming Masterpiece teaser was released and earned great responses. He was comitted to several projects for next two years including Parol, Raja 2, CBI 5, Bilal, Kunjali Marakkar, Taxi, Mamaankam, Abrahaminte Santhathikal- A Police Story and Unda.
