Pongal Wishes From Kamal Haasan And Other Celebrities

The film celebrities including Kamal Haasan are wishing their fans and others for Pongal festival. Today Bhogi is celebrated across the state. In Chennai, old unused things were burnt in several areas early this morning and late last night. This made whole Chennai filled with smog. 

Following this huge smog seen this morning, several social concerned and environment bothered people requested not to burn the things at least next year. The burning of things created huge smoke in the city and it turns to smog with lesser visibility throughout the city. We can reuse and recycle the unwanted things and we are in stage of saving our earth and the generations to come. 

Meantime, celebrities conveyed their Pongal wishes to people of Tamil Nadu in their twitter handle.

Kamal Haasan tweeted "அனைவருக்கும் பொங்கல் நன்னாள் வாழ்த்துக்கள். இனி விதைப்பது நற்பயிராகட்டும். வாழிய செந்தமிழ் வாழ்க நற்றமிழர். வாழிய பாரத மணித்திருநாடு."

Seenu Ramasamy shared "ஒரு வருடம் இம்மரத்தின் கீழ் தினமும் வந்து நின்றிருக்கிறேன்.இருமுறை சந்திக்கவும் செய்திருக்கிறேன்.சென்னை கே.கே நகரில் இம்மரத்திற்கு பின்னே அமரர் இயக்குநர் பரதனின் இல்லம் உயிர்த்திருந்த காலத்தில்... நினைவின் பசித்த அதிகாலை அனைவருக்கும் பொங்கல் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள்."
