Nayanthara Best Actress Tamil 2017

Most of the audience have chosen lady superstar Nayanthara as a best actress of Tamil Cinema 2017. Her recent release Aramm was lauded by critics and received overwhelming support of audiences everywhere in the state.

Nayan appeared as a district collector Madhivadhani and struggling to solve people's issues. The star actress had a simple look with 2 sets of saree throughout the film. Directed by new comer Minjur Gopi Nainar, the movie has the incident of rescuing the child trapped in deep bore well struggling between life and death.

Nayan pulled out her role with ease and impressed audience. She waved and attracted audience by her simple expressions and emotions. The star had rocked in Maya and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan last year and got several accolades for her strong performance.

Three movies Dora, Aramm and Velaikkaran were released in 2017. Among these 2 are women centric films where Nayan carried entire movie on her shoulders. Both the movies do not have romantic scenes or male lead for support.

Her upcoming movies are Imaikkaa Nodigal, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, Kolamavu Kokila , Balakrishna's Jai Simha (Telugu), Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (Telugu).

She started her career from 2003 Malayalam movie Manassinakkare. After doing 3 Malayalam movies she made debut Tamil film Ayya in the year 2005 pairing up with Sarath Kumar.  Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Sivakasi, Vallavan and E earned good name in start of her career. 

Though there were several ups and downs in her career she remained strong and patience to win again. Billa, Aegan, Boss Engira Bhaskaran, Raja Rani, Thani Oruvan are other notable movies of her.
